Essential Job Duties

As an IT Operations Analyst, this position will maintain, service and troubleshoot CIPM servers and desktops. In addition, this analyst position will diagnose, upgrade and maintain CIPM network as needed. Installing software and upgrades, diagnose hardware and software issues are other duties associated with this position as well. Coordinating activities with developers and principal investigators (PI’s) are included in the duties for this analyst position. This position will work directly with Federal IT on certification & accreditation requirements.

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Client troubleshooting (work with users to resolve PC / Mac trouble)
  • Troubleshooting print server issues
  • Off-hours server/software installation/troubleshooting
  • Install, manage, and troubleshoot other software’s such as storage (JBOD, SANs, iSCSI, fibre channel) and virtualization: Hyper V/VM.
  • IT security compliance auditing/remediation

Schedule: 30-40 hours per week (hours will vary due to off-cycle server/software maintenance/installations/troubleshooting schedules
